| The book has been conceived as a basic platform for understanding how industrial production systems are made and how they work, together with the guidelines for their planning on an average base. First, the text introduces the different types of production systems with different profiles of classification, afterwards, it illustrates the design criteria of systems for process production and for discrete production.
